Termite & Pest Control Solutions Townsville

Is your property at risk of termite damage?

Termite Treatment

If active termites are found on your property, we can treat them using a chemical which acts to spread amongst the colony and achieve total eradication. Our pest manager will return to the property within 14 to 21 days to ensure the treatment was successful.

Preventative Termite Treatment

There are a number of preventative management solutions to prevent termites from invading your property. During construction of the property, physical and / or chemical barriers such as ant capping, Termimesh, Kordon, Termguard or Termseal can be installed to prevent attack within the home.

Chemical Termite Barrier Perimeter Treatments

The installation of a chemical barrier encompasses slab drilling and perimeter trenching to dispense the chemical Termidor. This chemical product has a life expectancy of 8 years, offering you a long term management solution.

General Pest Spray

We use a range of pesticides to treat the internal and external confines of the building to help eliminate cockroaches, silverfish, webbing spiders and household ants. As these pests come into contact with the chemical residue they will start to die over the next 3 to 6 weeks.

Annual Pest / Termite Inspections

Pest / Termite inspections are highly recommended at least annually or more regularly depending on your initial report recommendations. These inspections can be carried out at a discounted rate for previous clients and we will send you a friendly reminder when your next inspection is due.

Physical and/or chemical barriers such as ant capping, Termimesh, Kordon, Termguard, or Termseal can be installed to prevent termites from getting in and attacking the home.

Chemical barriers create a liquid repellent barrier that stops termites from entering your property. We repel termites using a chemical called Termidor.

Termites can’t detect Termidor. As they forage through the soil getting closer to your home, they will unknowingly come into contact with Termidor.

Termidor kills termites through contact and ingestion. Infected termites will carry the chemical back to their nest and pass it on to others, potentially killing the entire colony.

Termidor which has a life expectancy of up to 8 years.

In terms of using DIY termite treatments, the answer is no.

All of the DIY termite treatments available off the shelf contain the same chemical base which are designed to repel termites instead of killing them outright.

This does not get rid of termites because:

  1. The termites are not affected in any way, nor are they killed off;
  2. The main nest or colony is not killed off, and;
  3. Termites will eventually find another way into the property as termites will simply manoeuvre “around” or “under” the treated area as they can detect it
